Daily Drivers

If you’re on the road every day, your paint takes a beating. Dirt, road salt, car washes, and weather all leave behind fine scratches and dull spots. Paint correction gets rid of that damage and brings back a smooth, clean finish. It’s a solid way to keep your car looking sharp, even with a busy schedule.

Used Car

Used Cars

Bought a used car that looks a little rough around the edges? Paint correction can erase years of neglect and bring the surface back to life. We remove light scratches, swirl marks, and faded spots so your new-to-you ride looks like it just rolled off the lot. It’s a great way to add value without a full repaint.

Lease Returns

Lease Returns

If you’re returning a leased vehicle, scratches and swirl marks can cost you money. Paint correction helps fix those minor defects before inspection. That means a cleaner return and less chance of getting hit with extra charges. It’s a smart move that can save you in the long run.

Arod’s Professional Paint Correction Process

Paint correction isn’t something we rush. We follow a step-by-step process to make sure your vehicle’s finish gets the attention it deserves. Every step plays a role in bringing out a deep, clean shine and removing years of wear.

  • 1. Full Wash and Decontamination

We start with a full hand wash to remove loose dirt and grime. Then we use a clay bar to pull out any embedded contaminants washing alone can’t reach. This gives us a clean surface to work on and helps prevent new scratches during polishing. We also clean your wheels, tires, and trim to make sure the entire vehicle is prepped properly.

  • 2. Paint Inspection

Once the car is clean, we take a close look at the paint under proper lighting. We check for swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and other defects. Every car is different, so this step helps us figure out what level of correction is needed. From there, we decide on the right pads, polish, and machine settings.

  • 3. Compounding

If the paint has deeper imperfections, we start with a compound polish. This cuts through the damaged layer and levels out the surface. It takes off oxidation and smooths out scratches and swirls without damaging the clear coat. This step brings a huge improvement in clarity and shine, especially on neglected paint.

  • 4. Polishing

After compounding, we follow up with a finer polish to refine the finish. This step removes any haze or micro-marring left behind by the compound and adds extra gloss. It’s what gives your paint that slick, glassy look. We take our time here to make sure the paint looks smooth and even from every angle.

  • 5. Surface Prep and Protection

Once the paint correction is complete, we wipe down all surfaces with a prep solution to remove any leftover polish or oils. This leaves a clean surface that’s ready for protection. Most customers follow up with ceramic coating, but we can also apply a sealant or wax if you prefer. Either way, your paint leaves with a strong layer of protection and a finish that looks like new.

Ceramic Coating Prep

Thinking about getting ceramic coating? Paint correction is the first step. Coating locks in whatever is underneath, so the surface needs to be as clean and polished as possible. We make sure your paint is corrected and ready so the ceramic looks better and lasts longer.
